Privacy

Short version: the tools on this site run in your browser and send nothing anywhere, and we don't track you across pages.

The tools

The QR checker decodes the image you give it using code running inside your own browser. The image is never uploaded. The safe word generator picks words locally using your browser's built-in randomness. Neither tool makes any network request after the page has loaded, which you can verify with your browser's developer tools.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate visit counting that doesn't set cookies or identify you individually. We don't build profiles, and we don't sell anything about you, because we don't collect anything worth selling.

Links to other sites

Some pages link out to security and privacy services. If you follow one of those links and sign up, the other company runs its own tracking and privacy policy, which we don't control. Read theirs before you sign up for anything.
